ABP makes its mark at Metal China

A special moment at Metal China: Till Schreiter opens the trade show together with representatives of the China Foundry Association.

ABP Induction was represented at the major Metal China 2026 trade show. At its own booth, ABP experts discussed with the professional audience the key challenges currently shaping the industry. ABP CEO Till Schreiter also delivered a message of congratulations on the 40th anniversary of the China Foundry Association (CFA).

At the opening of the exhibition, CEO Till Schreiter – in his role as a board member of the VDMA Metallurgy Association – spoke about the key transformation topics shaping global metallurgy and foundries today. His speech focused on the need for sustainable industrial strategies, technological innovation, and international cooperation in times of profound change.

In his opening remarks, Till Schreiter congratulated the CFA on the special milestone of its 40th anniversary and highlighted its role as one of the industry’s most important organizations. With its strong network, numerous professional events, and leading trade shows such as METAL CHINA, the CFA has been creating platforms for knowledge transfer, innovation, and international cooperation for decades.

He particularly emphasized the close relationship between ABP Induction and the China Foundry Association. Through ABP’s long‑standing presence in China and the ABP Shanghai location, a trusting cooperation has developed over many years. Regular communication with the CFA and its members makes an important contribution to the industry’s continued development.

Looking to the future, Schreiter addressed the major challenges facing the foundry industry worldwide. These include, in particular, the decarbonization of industrial processes, ongoing digitalization, demographic change, and shifts in global value chains. These developments would have a lasting impact on the industry and require new solutions.

Against this backdrop, he reaffirmed ABP’s commitment to supporting companies as “Your Partner on the Way to Zero Emission” on their journey toward more sustainable production. At the same time, he praised the CFA’s role as a platform that brings together companies, technologies, and people, thereby actively supporting the industry’s transformation. Till Schreiter’s message concluded with a clear commitment to continued cooperation. Together with the China Foundry Association and its members, ABP aims to continue working on successfully and sustainably shaping the future of the foundry industry – fully in line with the company mission: “ABP. People. Technology. Success.”
