ABP’s Presentation and Booth at AISTech 2026 in the U.S.
AISTech 2026 in Pittsburgh is once again proving to be a key gathering place for the global iron and steel industry. ABP Induction was once again part of it this year – with a clear message: the path toward decarbonizing industrial process heat is both technologically feasible and economically viable.
One highlight was the presentation by Dr. Marco Rische, Director of System Business at ABP. He demonstrated how inductive heating and melting technologies can play a central role in the gradual electrification of existing steel production facilities, and explained how combining conventional furnace systems with induction technology in hybrid concepts can unlock new potential.
