ABP Induction‘s anniversary year is drawing to a close — and to round it off, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of one of our national subsidiaries: our colleagues in Thailand marked this milestone with a ceremony at the plant. We also bid a fond farewell to one of our colleagues: Aridej Jirabanjong is retiring after more than 30 years with the company.

20 years of ABP Thailand means that for two decades, our colleagues on site have stood for commitment, reliability, and deep-rooted loyalty to our customers and our mission. ABP President Till Schreiter traveled to Thailand to mark the occasion. As a special recognition, all employees who have been with the company since its founding received a certificate for their service and long-standing loyalty.

Over the past 20 years, ABP Thailand has developed into a central part of the global ABP service network. The team‘s high level of technical expertise, strong customer relationships, and daily commitment reflect the values that distinguish ABP worldwide. Their work strengthens our presence in the region and supports our customers on their path to safe, efficient, and sustainable melting processes.

After more than 30 years of dedicated service, including his early years at ABB, Aridej Jirabanjong is retiring at the age of 60. For over three decades, he has shaped the face of the company in Thailand. As a long-standing service manager, he was not only the point of contact for ABP customers, but often the face of the company. His reliability, technical expertise, and calm, solution-oriented manner always left a lasting, positive impression. He embodied what we stand for: commitment, professionalism, and active partnership.

To honor his career, Till Schreiter personally presented him with a farewell gift. Together with Pilar Alvarez Delgado, Vice President of Service, and Yuttapong Limpiyakorn, General Manager of ABP Thailand, this special moment was celebrated at a dinner. His successor, Chanchai Satienpattarasakul, who is now responsible for the aftermarket team, was also in attendance.
