Technologies for an emission-free future

Alexander Keller and Ilya Kokarev, Project Development Manager at H-Iron, presented at the Westphalian Hydrogen Conference.

The Westphalian Hydrogen Conference brings together representatives from business, science, and politics to exchange information about the latest developments and projects related to the hydrogen economy – this year, at the Wilo Group. ABP Induction presented solutions from the H-Iron project.

The goal is to establish a holistic value chain for hydrogen in our region and to actively shape the energy transition. Among others, the City of Dortmund, the City of Hamm, and the District of Unna are involved.

ABP Induction sees itself as a technological pioneer of this transformation and as a partner for the organizations and institutions. With solutions for sustainable and energy-efficient industrial processes, ABP is working to make the decarbonization of industrial production a reality. In one of the Deep Dives at the WHC 2025, the Head of System Sales, Alexander Keller, presented our commitment to the H-Iron project, in which ABP is strategically involved, accompanied by Ilya Kokarev, Project Development Manager at H-Iron GmbH. This project exemplifies the use of innovative technologies that enable the leap to an emission-free future. The goal is to combine the sustainable production of hydrogen with industrial efficiency – and thus create the basis for climate-neutral creation of value. H-Iron also contributes to the establishment of a European supply chain for graphite materials, which are essential for batteries and other key technologies of the energy transition. This way, we do not only create technological excellence, but also independence and stability in supply.
