ABP India impresses with efficiency and customer satisfaction

The installation was no easy task, as it was a brownfield project

ABP Induction has successfully installed and commissioned three modern FS 60 IFM-S induction furnaces at the Bidadi site of automotive supplier AT India Auto Parts Private Limited. AT India had already placed its trust in ABP technology in the past – and was once again highly satisfied with the performance, energy efficiency, and service. The project was an important milestone for ABP India in further strengthening its market position in the highly competitive Indian market.

ABP Induction has delivered and commissioned three FS 60 IFM-S induction furnaces at AT India Auto Parts Private Limited in Bidadi. The automotive supplier had already installed three FS30 furnaces from ABP and is very satisfied with their performance and customer service.

This order was important for us at ABP India in order to strengthen our position in the highly competitive Indian market,“ explains Bhavadeep Pavagadhi, Manager Sales & Marketing at ABP India.

In 2023, ABP India received an order from AT India for two FS60 systems with a 4250 kW power supply system, followed by a follow-up order for another system of the same type in 2024. These complete furnace systems were manufactured, delivered, and successfully commissioned by ABP India. The installation and commissioning of the first two plants was completed in August 2024, and the third plant was completed in February 2025.

ABP handed over the system to the customer with an optimal energy consumption of 524 kWh/t for a challenging batch composition. “The customer is very satisfied with this result. The installation was not an easy task, as it was a brownfield project and the biggest challenge was to accommodate all three systems in a very confined space,” explains Bhavadeep Pavagadhi. “After we had installed two systems, the most difficult part was transporting the materials and installing the third system.” However, with the help of Karthik Ganesan, Sales & Service Manager at ABP India, all furnaces were installed within the specified time frame.

Anand P, Utility Manager, and Hiroshi Fuji, Project Manager at ATIA, who led this project, thanked the ABP India team for the successful completion of the project. “This installation has enabled us at ABP India to build a high level of trust with our customers,” says Bhavadeep Pavagadhi, who expects further orders from this renowned group in the national and international market in the future.
