ABP runners achieve results over 5.5 kilometers, including a place in the top 25
Our athletic ABP team at the B2Run race in Westfalenpark Dortmund – a sporting event organized by DAK-Gesundheit and many other partners.
Over 10,000 runners lined up at the start of the 5.5-kilometer course through Signal Iduna Park, past the Westfalenhallen, Messe Dortmund GmbH, and the Florianturm tower. Ten employees from our Dortmund site were among them. It remains to be seen whether our team with the low start numbers 1 to 10 should be considered favorites, but our runners certainly performed well.
The team included Michael Slodczyk, Stefan Bonna, Jan Erdmann, Jan Westbeld, Christoph Forsthövel, Bernd Bartelheimer, Marcel Mecklenbrauck, and Dario Foconi. Frank Holzmann, wearing start number 4, even made it into the TOP 25 of all starters – congratulations!
Participation in running events such as these is a tradition among athletic employees at ABP – motivated colleagues regularly take part in events in the region – with great success, as you can see!
