New Trainee gets off to a flying start

A fascination with technology was what motivated Moris Glaubitz to pursue technical vocational training after finishing school. He has started it at ABP Induction – as an apprentice electronics technician for industrial engineering. The settling‑in period went quickly.

The 17-year-old is definitely helped by his enthusiasm for all things technical, which he first discovered at Deutsche Bahn and then during his internship at ABP Induction. Early experiences with marking, measuring, and cutting sheet metal, wiring cables, and working with colleagues play a key role in the learning process. “Once you get into induction technology – it’s pretty cool,” says Moris Glaubitz, who lives in the Dortmund district of Wickede.

He came to ABP Induction through a job posting at the Federal Employment Agency. “ABP was presented as an employer offering good working conditions — and good pay on top of that. I then looked into things further on the website, and after getting to know the company on site, it quickly became clear to me that this is where I wanted to apply,” he says.
